about

This is Rafael Martini's debut album. Recorded in live sessions in a farm in Minas Gerais coutryside, Brasil. Songs and instrumental music by his own deliver a mix of influences derived from the music of artists such Egberto Gismonti, Hermeto Pascoal, Milton Nascimento and Tom Jobim. A bit of Argentinian music is present with the special feature of the greatest drummer Mariano "Tiki" Cantero, from Aca Seca Trio, and a version of a "side B" Jobim's song "Tempo do Mar" closes the album, in a arrangement that won some prizes on competitions. The album itself won the title of Best Album on the Marco Antonio Araújo prize 2012.
